The National College Football Awards association is proud to present its national players of the week from 13 of its member awards for the weekend of Sept. 14.
This marks the second season the NCFAA has streamlined the process to release each of these weekly honors each week. Going forward, NCFAA players of the week will be announced each Tuesday at Noon ET through the remainder of the regular season.
In all, 13 total players and one unit are honored this week led by Alabama QB Jalen Milroe and Virginia Tech Edge Antwaun Powell-Ryland.
Following are the NCFAA National Players of the Week:

- Davey O’Brien Award (Quarterback): Jalen Milroe, Alabama
- Doak Walker Award (Running Back): RJ Harvey, UCF
- John Mackey Award (Tight End): Mason Taylor, LSU
- Lou Groza Award (Kicker): Blake Craig, Missouri; Alex Raynor, Kentucky; Kanoah Vinesett, NC State
- Maxwell Award (Overall Player): Jalen Milroe, Alabama (QB)
- Outland Trophy (Interior Lineman): Alabama Offensive Line
- Paul Hornung Award (All-Purpose Player): Travis Hunter, Colorado (WR/CB)
- Paycom Jim Thorpe Award (Defensive Back): Jermari Harris, Iowa
- Ray Guy Award (Punter): James Burnip, Alabama
- Walter Camp Award (Overall Player): Offensive: Alan Bowman, Oklahoma State (QB); Defensive: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Virginia Tech (Edge)
Founded in 1997, the National College Football Awards Association includes college football’s most prestigious awards and its 24 awards have honored more than 900 recipients dating back to 1935.
